Micro-Scanning Services... Extreme Accuracy

Our service uses a precision confocal sensor that has a resolution of +/-0.01 micron in the z-axis for measuring surface finish, 2D contours, and 3D topography.

Service using proven laser technology combined with computer-driven X and Y translation stages to capture points to less than 1 micron on 3-dimensional position.  Target objects can be up to 7.5" square.  Laser spot size is 2 microns.

Once 3D topography is captured, angles, heights, and positions can be measured to fully define even the smallest geometries.  3D point clouds can be exported and surfaced for use in Pro-E or SolidWorks platforms.

The system collects a series of z-height measurements with sub-micron resolution to create a 2D profile, or performs a raster scan of the entire measurement site to produce a 3D topographical map.
