MANAGING YOUR UNCERTAINTIES
One of the biggest challenges facing those tasked with calculating their laboratory's measurement
uncertainties is first identifying all the measurements needing uncertainty estimates and then linking the
estimates to the data reports.

WHAT'S
COVERED
|
To assist laboratories in this requirement, we have developed a software database tool using
Microsoft Access 2000 called "Measurement Uncertainty Manager". This tool will become
available for purchase in 2004.
In order to support the proper use of this tool, we are offering a 2-day class immediately
following our 3-day Measurement Uncertainty classes in March, April and May of 2004.
The software will provide several features, such as a system to link your analyses to your data
reports as well as control and document required reviews. The system will help you organize
families and groups of devices submitted for calibration, so you can provide measurement
uncertainty estimates for all your measurements based on a minimal amount of actual uncertainty
budgets. The database will also provide guidance on contributors for various common industry
measurements and interface directly with Quametec's "Uncertainty Toolbox for Microsoft
Excel". Attendees will receive two days of hands-on training plus a
licensed copy of "Measurement Uncertainty Manager" for Microsoft Access.
Class size is limited! Please call 800-959-0632 immediately to register
for this course...
