AUDITING TO ISO 17025

ISO/IEC 17025:
"General Requirements for the Competence
of Testing and Calibration Laboratories"

This course is beneficial to both Assessors and employees of laboratories seeking accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025. The course examines the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025 section by section and covers techniques for auditing compliance.  On completion you will be able to understand what behavior and activities are required of you in order for your work to be conformant to the 17025 standard. Auditing activities required for accreditation plus an understanding of the management and technical sections of the standard listed below will be covered. The majority of the class will be spent reviewing sections of the standard and applicable auditing procedures and techniques.

Those wanting to become knowledgeable in ISO/IEC 17025 requirements, and/or want to become qualified in performing internal audits. This class is attended by both potential assessors and personnel from laboratories seeking accreditation.

Requirements:

Attendees seeking to apply the information from the course to their respective laboratory should be familiar with their laboratory's technical operations in order to fully benefit from the course in their pursuit for ISO/IEC 17025 compliance. Each student will receive a copy of the 17025:2005 document.

Time: 8:00am - 4:00pm w/ one hour lunch break
