COORDINATE MEASURING MACHINE (CMM) TRAINING
"Mike went into details that were more than basic, which were
helpful in understanding certain aspects better."
"Mitch had a great way of getting to the heart of the matter
quickly, and he used examples that were easy to understand."
Manufacturing companies are increasingly searching for qualified CMM Programmers. This course
will help to equip you for a more rewarding and challenging position in the quality field. It
is perfect for those who have a working knowledge of certain brands of CMMs and would like
to learn additional brands, as well as for those who would like to enter the CMM field
(if prerequisites are met).
Prerequisites: It is very important that all students of this
course to have some basic knowledge prior to attending this CMM
training course so that students within the class are not held back. Each
registrant will need to complete and pass a pre-skills examination
to determine his/her experience and knowledge in the following areas:
- Knowledge of Print Reading of
drawings with tolerances
- Knowledge of Geometric
Dimensioning & Tolerancing
- Knowledge of Basic Dimensional
Measurement Tools
- Basic knowledge of PC and
Windows
- Pre-work instruction - Reading
the training manual
If you lack experience in
these areas and you do not pass the pre-skills test, we
offer various courses that will give you the knowledge necessary
meet the prerequisites in order to to
take the CMM course - The public offerings for these prerequisite
courses can be found on the
calendar. Other less expensive self-directed
learning options to help the student to meet the prerequisites are
available. Please call or email us for these options.
